‘Glass’ First Promotional Image

EW has posted the first promotional images of the characters. And also added some more informations about what we’re going to see on the movie.

Entertainment Weekly — Shyamalan’s new film, Glass (out Jan. 18), will fulfill the tacit promise of that ending by leading with Willis’ Dunn, Jackson’s Glass (a.k.a. Elijah Price), Taylor-Joy’s Casey Cooke, and the multiple personalities inhabiting McAvoy’s Crumb, both familiar and previously unseen. “We get to spend some time with some new people that live inside Kevin,” McAvoy said. Those are not the only franchise returnees: Charlayne Woodard, who played Elijah’s mom, and Spencer Treat Clark, who played David’s son, also make appearances. “[They] play a big role,” Shyamalan teased to EW.

At this year’s CinemaCon, a trailer for Glass featured footage of Dunn, Price, and Crumb in the same facility, receiving treatment from a psychiatrist. “She deals with people that think they’re comic-book characters,” Shyamalan said of the doctor, portrayed by Sarah Paulson. “It’s kind of the modern-day equivalent of ‘I think I’m Jesus’ or ‘I’m an emperor.’ ”

Comic-Con 2018: Hall H Panel for UNBREAKABLE Sequel GLASS announced

“You cannot contain what you are.” Filmmaker M. Night Shyamalan announced on Twitter today that Glass, his sequel to Unbreakable, will have a Hall H panel at San Diego Comic-Con, and with that announcement came the unveiling of a new poster.

Revealed on Twitter, the poster features Bruce Willis as David Dunn, Samuel L. Jackson as Elijah Price, aka Mr. Glass, and Split‘s James McAvoy as Kevin Wendell Crumb, aka The Beast. While not on the poster, Anya Taylor-Joy will also reprise her role as Casey Cooke from Split.

Glass is due out in the US on January 18th, 2019 from Universal Pictures, and the film’s first trailer is expected to premiere at Comic-Con.

Check out the official synopsis:

Synopsis (via Collider): “From Unbreakable, Bruce Willis returns as David Dunn as does Samuel L. Jackson as Elijah Price, known also by his pseudonym Mr. Glass. Joining from Split are James McAvoy, reprising his role as Kevin Wendell Crumb and the multiple identities who reside within, and Anya Taylor-Joy as Casey Cooke, the only captive to survive an encounter with The Beast.

Following the conclusion of Split, Glass finds Dunn pursuing Crumb’s superhuman figure of The Beast in a series of escalating encounters, while the shadowy presence of Price emerges as an orchestrator who holds secrets critical to both men.

This riveting culmination of his worldwide blockbusters will be produced by Shyamalan and Jason Blum, who also produced the writer/director’s previous two films for Universal. They produce again with Ashwin Rajan and Marc Bienstock, and Steven Schneider, who will executive produce.”

Update: The cast of Glass will also make an appearance on Conan O’brien show on July 20, during the Comic-Con.
